An Introduction to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Masterclass
This masterclass is suitable for frontline Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists and other AHPs.
Description
This interactive session aims to equip you with some basic CBT knowledge and skills, and how to apply a range of CBT-informed interventions in your clinical practice with patients who have physical and mental health problems.
No previous knowledge of CBT required.
By the end of this masterclass you will be able to understand:
- The basic CBT model
- How thoughts, feelings, and behaviours interact
- How to conceptualize your patient's difficulties from a CBT perspective
- Some basic cognitive interventions
- Some basic behavioural interventions
- How to implement some basic CBT interventions into your practice

- You must have completed a learning agreement/study bond within your organisation prior to booking your place.
