NMAHP Practice Educator Training Update Day

Description

Our regulatory bodies, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), require all health care practitioners involved in the supervision and assessment of nursing, midwifery and allied health profession (NMAHPs) pre-registration learners to be trained.

This masterclass meets that need by providing you with an opportunity to explore the latest knowledge, skills and behaviours required to fulfil the role of practice educator. The masterclass will run over 6 hours. In the morning session, you will join other NMAHPs to consider

·        Current drivers within practice-based learning placements

·        Supportive learning environments, and

·        Equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging.

In the afternoon session, you will meet with your NMAHP profession academic course team to discuss practice education matters relevant to your specific profession.
